Heatizon’s patented roof heating products install directly under the roof covering materials protecting your investment from leaks and ice dams without sacrificing the aesthetic beauty of your roof line. The Weather Watcher sensor slips between shingles, connecting to the heating element and the controls for simple, automatic activation.

The sensor is specifically designed for detecting snow and freezing rain. When the ambient air temperature is below 4°C, and precipitation is detected, the Weather Watcher controller will activate the Heatizon System Tuff Cable, ZMesh and/or GutterMelt, turning it on to melt ice and snow. The Weather Watch controls will turn the Heatizon System off when the temperature reaches 4°C or the sensor is dry for 30 to 90 mintues, depending on the selected delay settings. Day or night, if you’re home or away, Weather Watcher provides worry free activation for round the clock protection.
