Flange Isolation products manufactured by Pipeline Seal and Insulator (PSI) include a complete line of Sealing and Isolating Gaskets along with a variety of Isolation Sleeves and Washers.

PSI flange isolation products are designed to provide the complete electrical insulation of a flange assembly.

PSI flange isolation products are relied upon for applications subject to the most severe conditions (both internal and environmental), for specialized or exotic fluids or for applications subject to extreme temperature and pressure fluctuations.

Flange isolation products include a wide selection of isolating/sealing gaskets along with a variety of sleeves and washers. See LineBacker ZeroTM sealing gasket, LineBacker 250TM sealing gasket and LineBacker 251TM sealing gasket, all designed to address problems associated with asbestos substitutes and fugitive emissions.LineBacker® sealing gaskets are self energizing with theoretical near zero “m” and “y” factors resulting in effecting a positive seal without excessive bolt loads required with flat gaskets.

Type "E" Gaskets have the same outside diameter as the flanges, and are made with precision-located bolt holes. They are easy to center and will prevent foreign mataerial from becoming lodged between the flange faces and "shorting out" the flange insulation. Type "E" gaskets are available in a wide variety of materials.
Type "F" Gaskets are made to fit within the bolt hole circle of the flange faces. The outside diameter of the gasket is slightly larger than the inside diameter of the bolt hole circle. They are available in a wide variety of materials.


Type "D" Gaskets are made specifically to fit into the ring groove of RTJ flanges. They are available in reinforced phenolic and other materials.
